Rooftop Engagement in Downtown Calgary, Alberta
For this downtown engagement we woke up before the sun came up to pop some champagne for breakfast! These two have been friends for 7+ years and lovers for 3+ years. They wanted an urban feel for their photoshoot and the outfits they chose are by far the most unique. Every time I see them they are the most stylish couple in the room.
These photos were an honour to take for many reasons. First of all, Peter is my cousin so when he asked me to take their engagement photos I was giddy with excitement. Second these two are a friends to lover trips and their love story is beautiful. Third, both of them are very talented artists. I am blown away with everything they have created and ca’t wait to hear more music from them. So grateful they woke up so early to spend the morning with me. The golden light at this time was perfect for their urban, downtown engagement photos.

What do you love doing together?
We love to eat, spend time with Tomato (our dog), make music together, travel, see friends and family, and whatever else seems fun in the moment! Sarah is an amazing singer and writer and Pete plays a few instruments. That’s how we met and something we love doing together still.

Places: San Sebastian, The Okanagan, Seasons in the Park (first date), The Roxy (first bang), The Shipyards in North Vancouver (proposal), the roof at work (when we had an office)
Activities: Traveling, eating a ton of food, making music, playing with the dog
